What this site collects

Your email, if you give it to us. The waitlist form is the only data collection on this site. Submissions are processed by Formspree and stored so we can email you about the beta and launch. That's the only thing the list is used for.

A theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device.

What this site doesn't do

No analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, no tracking cookies, no fingerprinting, no selling or renting your email to anyone. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see the request — that's the full list of third parties besides Formspree.

Getting off the list

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or just reply "remove me" and a human will do it. You can also write to hello@trainplate.app to ask what we have about you or to have it deleted — both requests are honored, no questions asked.

When the app launches

The TrainPlate app will handle more sensitive data — food logs, workouts, weight, and Apple Health information — and it will get its own privacy policy before anyone can download it. The principles are already set: health data stays on your device or in your Apple Health store wherever possible, everything is exportable and deletable, and none of it gets sold. Ever.
